On August 25, 2024 AIK met Brommapojkarna at home. The black and yellow team played in a unique and specially designed match shirt.
The design is inspired by the 1924 match shirt, exactly one hundred years old. In true 20s spirit, we see a v-neck collar and contrasting cuffs on the sleeves. The chest is adorned with a well-sized AIK in yellow velvet letters with embroidered edges. At the bottom of the front of the shirt, there is a black silicone commemorative badge with the number 96, which bears witness to the club's proud Allsvenskan history. Even the Nike swoosh is black. In the neck of the match shirt, there is a yellow flock print with a couple of lines from the AIK waltz (AIK-Valsen Written in 1929)  which, in a brilliant way, we think encapsulates a bit of everything that AIK stands for. Something we should proudly protect and pass on.
